Sea Foam notched his second stakes win of the year on New Year’s Eve, going wire to wire in the Alex Robb at Aqueduct after being pressed the whole way around.

Since being claimed for $45,000 in July, Sea Foam has won the Evan Shipman as well as the aforementioned Alex Robb, with a 3rd place finish to G1 Cigar Mile winner Americanrevolution in the Empire Classic.

2019 OBS April purchase Lady Rocket posted a 106 Beyer Speed Figure in her 9 lengths score in Saturday’s G3 Go For Wand at Aqueduct for owners Frank Fletcher and Ten Strike Racing.

The 106 Beyer Speed Figure that she earned is the highest Beyer earned by any filly or mare in 2021. Lady Rocket now has 6 wins in 11 starts and has only been off the board once in her career with earnings of more than $530,000.

At Oaklawn Park, Warrior’s Charge’s two year old half-sister Warrior’s Battle broke her maiden by 7 1/4 lengths. She is owned in partnership with Paul Farr’s Titletown Racing.

Off at odds of 9-2, Rocket Dawg raced in an outside seventh through an opening quarter in :22.76 after exiting from post nine. He began to roll beneath Florent Geroux while three wide rounding the far turn, set his sights on the leader approaching the quarter pole and powered home down the stretch to graduate by 5 1/2 lengths over Grantham (Declaration of War).

Lady Rocket now has 5 wins in 10 starts and has only been off the board once in her career. She earned a career best 94 Beyer Speed Figure for this effort!

Whereshetoldmetogo avenged his qualification from last year’s New Castle Stakes with a hard earned win in this year’s edition, getting up by a neck on the line to push his earnings to just shy of $700,000.

At Parx, Warrior’s Charge bounced back with a big effort to finish 3rd in the Parx Dirt Mile behind G1 winners Mind Control and Silver State. He earned a 99 Beyer Speed Figure.

At Belmont, Lady Rocket made her graded stakes debut in the G2 Gallant Bloom and after a bad stumble at the start, she ran huge to be 2nd, earning a career best 94 Beyer Speed Figure in the process.

 

Homebred Whittington Park, by Midnight Lute out of See the Forest, broke his maiden at Saratoga on Saturday, scoring by 7 3/4 lengths in gate to wire fashion.

The 2yo half-brother to the stakes winning Critical Value is trained by Brad Cox and was ridden by Manny Franco.

 

Lady Rocket, owned in partnership with Frank Fletcher, became a stakes winner last night at Charles Town with a gate to wire score in the Misty Bennett Pink Ribbon Stakes under Florent Geroux.

Lady Rocket now has 4 wins in 8 lifetime starts with earnings of more than $288,000.

Claimed for $50,000 just ten days ago, Sea Foam went gate to wire in the Evan Shipman at Saratoga yesterday, making him the first winner for trainer Michelle Giangiulio!

Stable star Warrior’s Charge became a millionaire on Saturday at Churchill Downs with a brilliant 2nd place finish in the G2 Stephen Foster.

Even after getting off to a slightly troubled start, Warrior’s Charge ran his guts out to stay on in the stretch behind Maxfield, who is regarded as one of the best horses in the country. Warrior’s Charge’s lifetime earnings now stand at $1,002,910 from 16 lifetime starts which includes five wins, three 2nd place finishes and three 3rd place finishes. What a horse!

Suki won a $75,000 Maiden Claiming event at Churchill Downs on May 22 after being claimed for $30,000 just two weeks prior.

Expertly prepared by trainer Matt Shirer, Suki mowed down her competition late to win the race by a widening 3 3/4 lengths. She earned a 78 Beyer Speed Figure for her efforts.
